How It Works
Every item in Rust is tracked. Pick up an item or craft it for the first time and it’s logged to your Collection Log. Open it anytime with /log.
The log tracks 13 categories: Weapons, Attire, Tools, Medical, Food, Ammo, Resources, Components, Traps, Electrical, Building, Fun, and Misc.
The CUI
Type /log to open a full-screen browser:
- Left sidebar — Color-coded category buttons showing your completion count per category
- Right panel — 8×6 item grid. Discovered items show in green with a count. Undiscovered items show as “???” in red
- Pagination — Browse through large categories
- Milestone checkmarks — See which category milestones you’ve hit at a glance

Discovery
Items are discovered by:
- Picking them up — Any item entering your inventory (belt, main, or wear slots)
- Crafting them — Completing a craft at any workbench
Already-discovered items just increase your count. Get out there and find everything.
